The Basic 3 level in the regular programme is a continuation course from Basic 2 and the last level at beginner level. You will complete the Help 1 textbook and successfully reach A.2 level (based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages [CEFR], an internationally recognized standard for describing language skills). This means you will be able to hold a simple conversation with a Dutch person. You will be able to react to most questions asked of you. You will be able to follow and understand the contents of a short Dutch film and at the same time be able to talk about it. You will also be able to write a brief note about an event or write a recipe.
Admission Requirements
- Minimum 15 years old or 10th grade of high school; - For ETC course participants: Those who passed Basic 3 level six or more months previously will be required to take a placement test; - For non-ETC course participants: Those who have basic Dutch knowledge will be required to take a placement test. Placement test fee is Rp. 150,000.
