The Advanced Dutch courses (Levels 1 to 3) are designed for learners who have completed the Intermediate levels and are ready to deepen their proficiency. Using the Help 3 teaching material, Advanced 1 and 2 together offer 100 meeting hours focused on helping you reach CEFR level B2. You will learn to engage in extended conversations, respond confidently to questions, understand written texts in detail, and complete practical writing tasks such as filling out forms, writing reports, and drafting official letters. Advanced 2 and 3, each with 50 contact hours, continue building on these skills, reinforcing fluency and precision in both spoken and written Dutch. By the end of Advanced 3, you will have completed the Help 3 textbook and be well-prepared to navigate complex communication in academic, professional, and social settings. These courses aim to equip you with the language tools needed for full participation in Dutch-speaking environments.

Details

After completing Advanced 1, you can continue to Advanced 2 with a total of 50 contact hours. At this level, you will finish the Help 3 textbook. You will be trained to reach level B.2 (based on the CEFR). You will be expected to be able to hold long conversations and respond to questions from your interlocutors in Dutch. You will also be expected to follow and understand a text and answer questions about it. Furthermore, you will also be expected to be able to fill in various forms and write a report or an official letter.

Admission Requirements

- Minimum age must be 15 years old or 10th grade high school, and a maximum of 65 years old. - For ETC course participants: Those who passed Advanced 2 level six or more months previously will be required to take a placement test. - For non-ETC course participants: Those who have basic Dutch knowledge will be required to take a placement test. Placement test fee is Rp. 150,000.
