
Advance Your Dutch Skills to the Next Level
The Advanced Dutch courses (Levels 1–3) are designed for learners who have completed the Intermediate levels and are ready to deepen their language proficiency. Using the Help 3 textbook, Advanced 1 and 2 offer a total of 90 contact hours focused on achieving the B2 level of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
In these courses, you will learn to engage in extended conversations, respond to questions with confidence, understand written texts in detail, and complete practical writing tasks such as filling out forms, writing reports, and composing official letters.
Advanced 2 and 3 (each consisting of 45 contact hours) continue to strengthen these skills with an emphasis on fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written Dutch. By the end of Advanced 3, you will have completed the Help 3 textbook and be well-prepared to communicate effectively in academic, professional, and social contexts.
These courses are designed to equip you with the language skills necessary for full participation in Dutch-speaking environments.
Dutch • Advanced 1
Advance Your Dutch: Level B2 Preparation
After completing the Intermediate levels, you can continue to Advanced 1 and 2, totaling 90 contact hours. These levels use the Help 3 textbook and are designed to help you reach CEFR level B2.
At this stage, you will develop the ability to:
• Engage in extended conversations in Dutch
• Respond confidently to questions from your interlocutors
• Understand written texts and answer related questions
• Fill out various forms
• Write reports and official letters
These courses will strengthen your skills for academic, professional, and everyday Dutch communication.

Dutch • Advanced 2
Advanced 2 – Reaching CEFR Level B2
After completing the Advanced 1 course, you can progress to Advanced 2, which consists of 45 contact hours. At this level, you will complete the Help 3 textbook and be trained to reach CEFR level B2.
By the end of this course, you are expected to:
• Hold extended conversations and respond confidently to your interlocutors in Dutch
• Follow and understand spoken or written texts, and answer related questions
• Fill in various forms accurately
• Write formal reports and official letters in Dutch

Dutch • Advanced 3
After completing Advanced 2, you may proceed to Advanced 3, which includes a total of 45 contact hours. At this level, you will complete the Help 3 textbook and be trained to achieve level B2, based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
By the end of the course, you are expected to:
• Participate in extended conversations and respond appropriately to questions from your conversation partners in Dutch.
• Follow and understand various texts and answer related comprehension questions.
• Fill out different types of forms and write reports or formal letters in Dutch.
