Bridge Class: Transitioning from Children to Youth Programmes Since 2021, ETC has introduced the Bridge Class to help students smoothly transition from our Children’s classes (Kinderklassen) to our Youth programmes (ages 12 and up). This class is designed to bridge the learning gap and offer extended opportunities for children to continue developing and mastering their Dutch language skills. Course Materials: ETC Worksheets including a short review of Kinderklassen B & C, extended competence training, language diversification, and project-based learning.
Admission Requirements
Requirements: • Completion of the Children’s Programme (Kinderklas) Level C at ETC. • Children aged 10 years or older (recommended age or ready to progress to the next level). • A placement test is required for students who have postponed their studies for two or more course periods, or have basic Dutch knowledge equivalent to Level C of the Children’s Programme from another institution.
